Are you struggling with life obstacles or adapting to a change? Are you feeling “stuck” and having a difficult time working past this? Do you struggle in social situations? Is your child struggling with emotions or behaviors concerns? During the course of our lives, we experience many highs and many lows. By working through the hard times, it gives us an opportunity to grow and better ourselves.

Over my years of experience, I have worked with children, adolescents and adults in both individual and group therapy. I have honed my skills while working with those struggling with: life stressors, anxiety, depression, autism, ADHD, social skills, parenting skills, divorce, and more. I am a licensed professional counselor, and nationally certified counselor. I graduated from Mercer University earning a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Before which I earned my Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Georgia State University.

My goal in therapy is to work collaboratively with you to build up the strengths you already have, and use those strengths to address the concerns. I believe in having a safe, yet fun and engaging space that allows you to grow. Each person is unique and so my therapeutic approach is adjusted to your specific needs. With this in mind, I use an integrative approach for therapy. This allows me to pull from several different techniques, including but not limited to: cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, solution focused and person-centered.

Congratulations, you’ve already taken the first step by coming here. When you are ready to begin the therapeutic process, I will be here to help along your journey.
