What Reiki Is

Reiki (pronounced ray-key ) is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing practice that supports

balance and well-being in the mind, body, and spirit. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese

words Rei universal energy; and ki personal life force (Japanese version of Chinese term chi).

This healing method works by promoting the natural flow of energy throughout the body, helping

to reduce stress, ease tension, and encourage the body’s innate ability to restore itself.

How It Works

Reiki practitioners channel energy through light touch or by holding their hands just above the

body. This energy is not forceful or directed — it flows naturally to where it’s needed most.

Clients often experience sensations of warmth, tingling, or calm, and many report feeling deeply

relaxed, centered, or emotionally lighter after a session.

Benefits of Reiki

Reiki can support your overall wellness and complement mental health or medical care by:

● Reducing stress, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm

● Supporting emotional release and clarity

● Promoting better sleep and relaxation

● Easing physical tension and fatigue

● Enhancing overall mood and resilience

Reiki and Holistic Wellness

Reiki is a complementary practice and is not a replacement for medical or psychological

treatment. It works beautifully alongside traditional care to promote whole-person healing. Many

clients find that regular Reiki sessions help them maintain emotional balance and a deeper sense

of inner peace as they navigate life’s challenges.

What Makes This Practice Unique

Reiki Masters can combine traditional Reiki with mindfulness, grounding, and

breath work techniques to create a deeply supportive experience. The focus is on helping clients

cultivate inner peace, self-awareness, resilience, and harmony, — empowering them to take an

active role in their healing journey.
