Andrea Dugas, LCSW

As a therapist, I work with you to help you identify your desires and empower you to make those positive changes in your life. I understand that making the decision to seek help can be difficult, so I use an approach that is compassionate, direct, and non-judgmental to help create an environment where you feel supported in your counseling journey.

Born and raised in the City of Pittsburgh, I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Chatham University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. I hold a Clinical License in Social Work as well as a Certification in Case Management. I have over 12 years of experience working with individuals and families facing challenges including mental health, substance use, grief and loss, chronic disease management, caregiver burnout, end of life planning, intimacy and fidelity, and boundary setting.

My goal is to assist you in setting and reaching your own goals through a supportive, strength-based approach that recognizes you as the expert within your own life.
